We visited Yellowstone National Park this last summer with Marc's family. They hadn't been to Yellowstone as a family since the fires of 1988. It was a grand adventure and I definitely had pregnant moments when we were 2 hours away from Yellowstone and I realized I didn't bring the umbrella stroller. I realized much later that Mason still fits in the Ergo carrier and I SHOULD have brought at least that to carry him around in rather than our arms! Mason was a trooper for how much he was willing to walk around and Marc was such a good daddy to carry Mason around so much.
Here we are at Old Faithful. That was the first stop on our first day at Yellowstone.
"Thar she blows!"
Old Faithful dying down.
Cousin Joe holding Mason's hand as we took a little hike to see the other geysers near Old Faithful.
Catching a ride on Daddy's shoulders.
There are my handsome boys!
Considering I was 7 months pregnant and it's been 6 months since we were there, I don't remember which stop this was.... if you know feel free to post it in the comments section!
Jeffrey and the mud-pots. He really wanted to see the mud-pots. Unfortunately they were pretty dried up as they usually get in July - but no need to fear, we saw some fabulous mud-pots near the end of the week!
That evening we went to a dude ranch for a deliciously yummy dinner. Grandma, Grandpa, the pregnant ladies (Hillary and myself), Christy, Mike and all 4 grandsons rode on the hay ride trailer pulled by a tractor while Marc, Rob, Emily, Katie and Sissy (Chris) rode horses. At the end of the trail was a delicious BBQ dinner and a local cowboy musician as entertainment.
The four boys, Andrew, Mason, Joseph & Jeffrey
Saddled up for the ride back to the cars and then onto the condo for swimming in the pool and bedtime! Mason fell asleep in the car on the way back.
