Now that we've been living in our house for 7-1/2 weeks and are mostly moved in and the house is actually clean and mostly organized, I thought I would finally take some pictures and post them all for my curious friends.
The Master Bedroom
Repainting the bench is on my list of projects to do, as is making some pillow shams for the bed.
I forgot to take a picture looking towards the other side of the room - I have this beautiful painting Marc's grandmother painted of pink poppies.
The Bathroom (the first picture is taken from the master bedroom)
The awesome toilet seat we bought!
For child use
For adult use
The Kids' Bedroom
Mason's bed is obviously the bottom bunk. I made a duvet cover out of the Mario Kart flat sheet and a cream flat sheet I wasn't using anymore. Mason LOVES his 'cars' bedding - and that his name is on his bed in between the cars. I cut both out with my Cricut Expression. He likes to spell his name a lot. "M-A-S-O-N"
The crib... I still need to make a crib skirt and bumper to match the quilt Kjersti made for Ellen.
My sister-in-law gave me this vinyl wall quote and I decided to put all the baby pictures around it. I still need to buy more Command Damage-Free Hanging strips so I can finish putting the pictures up around the quote and the 2nd row on the right side.
Ellen's name. I cut the roses out using the 50 States cartridge and New York's state flower is the Rose. I then had to paint the white on where the cuts were since you can't see the detail cuts very well even close up. I have a print I bought on Etsy from sarahjanestudios I am going to frame and hang up above the picture.
The toy shelf
The Office
The Hallway
(I obviously still have some pictures to hang but I am going to spray paint the frames black first).
The Entryway
The Living Room
(Mason is watching PBS)
Mason is trying to pose (his idea) but he looked over at the TV at the last second)
And looking towards the dinette - but I was really getting a picture of Mason's little activity area where he likes to cut paper and practice his ABCs.
The Kitchen/Laundry area :D
My sewing corner and our food storage - most of which I canned myself!
The kitchen... with some dishes I still need to clean and put away.
